2009 | JGC: Termination of EPC Contract for Kuwait Refinery Project
JGC Corporation announced today that it has received notification from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) of termination of the Letter of Intent issued in 2008 for EPC Package No. 1 of the New Refinery Project, in Al-Zour, Kuwait, being jointly carried out with GS Engineering & Construction (GS), Korea.
The remaining contract value of approximately two hundred and thirty (230) billion Japanese yen will be deducted from the company's current outstanding contracts.
